Is it normal that i think scraggly facial hair looks silly?

I see it more and more. Guys, don't you know you look silly when you have some lame looking sparse hair on your face? If you can't grow a real man beard, goatee or mustache, shave that stuff off! You're only putting on display that you can't grow a real beard yet. Do you look in the mirror and think you see an actual beard, goatee or mustache?? You'll look nicer with it gone!

    Do you just mean patchy? Like Keanu Reeves with a beard? Now patchy doesn't look good at all. To me "scraggly" just means the guy has curly or wavy facial hair and that usually goes with guys who have curly or wavy hair on their head which is hot. Scraggly could also mean just poorly manicured which can be trimmed.

      I mean sparse, not filled in like a man's facial hair. And the guys who do it tend to let the hairs grow long, like that's gonna make it look fuller. That's when it looks scraggly.

    It looks like one of two things:

    1.) The guy doesn't own a proper razor -OR- doesn't know how to shave.
    2.) The guy can't properly grow facial hair but doesn't want to accept the fact that he can't, so he doesn't shave.

    I agree.
    Grow it, or shave it.
    The only one to pull off in between was Prince.
    I like old scooby doo reruns.
    But, I'd never date, or hire a guy that looks like shaggy.
