Is it normal that i think scars are beautiful?

I find scars to be very beautiful. I started cutting to releive myself of emotional pain, I stopped cutting because I found better ways to cope. Now I cut myself just so I can look at the scars, to me its so... pretty? its hard to explain. I dont even cut deep i just break the skin so it will scar over for a few days and when they heal I make new ones to look at. Is it normal?

    Its the emo way. Im emo and i think blud and guts and scars r awesome. I hav a LOAD and i luv them

    scars are beautiful yes, but don't purposefully cut yourself to create them. let them happen naturally. i have a scar on my arm where my dog scratched me (deeply), and i am so proud of it:) whenever i get cut, i pray that it scars. to me, scars are badges of honor. there's nothing more beautiful than a battle scar

      My main coon cat gashed open my back with his hand claw (long story) when I was younger so bad i almost had to go get stitches but now it's a big beautiful scar that's still there and it means so much to me for some reason now I am very sad that it's hardly noticeable I love that it's there when I'm in my swim suit but now that it's disappearing I almost want to get it back in a way haha I wouldn't but still I think it's beautiful

    I carve viking runes in my skin. Odin protects me in battle now. If you like beautiful scars you should get a tattoo.

    I make new scars just to look at also. But Im not normal. So I wouldn't classify it as normal.

    Scars on girls are absolutely adorable. I love when they get all embarrassed about them and immediately cover up when you ask about them. Gah, just thinking about it makes me want to kiss some and make them all better <3

    I think scars are beautiful, if they were by accident and they are a memory. But doing it on perpose because you want a scare isn't normal at all.
    But I have a scar on the back of my heel from when I was at this party at my aunts house or when I jumped out of the big tree in my backyard not wanting any help and cutting my knee on the roots on of the tree on the ground when I was 5. Those are beautiful. But causing pain to yourself on perpose is never beautiful.

    Dont'cut yourself, do you want to kill yourself if you accidentally infect your bloodstream?There is no safe way to purposly harm yourself like that.Scars are cooler when you get them by accident.[aspiring doctor here]

    U know u can kill yourself by doing that? I suggest u talk to someone about your habit. It's not a good one. I used to cut myself as well to relieve emotional pain. Now I just hide my pocket knives from myself cuz I have add and can never remember where I put them. If u like scars so much I'm sure u can look up pics of them on google images. You don't have to do that to yourself.

    1. Your emo 2. Get a tattoo 3. I love picking scabs, it's a bad habit though. Is that what you do now? If so. Keep doin it, better than cuttin urself

    Its beautiful at first, but now, 15 yrs later my scars are still there! Im tired of looking at the constant reminder of a few seconds worth of emotional pain. Im over it. My new favorite season is winter so i can wear long sleeves and forget. The only cool thing about my scars is people dont fuck with me!

    I think scars are beautiful as well. that is normal. but what isn't is cutting yourself. I used to. it's a horrible habit. you should get help from a close friend or family member or another trusted person. scars from natural actives
    are beautiful though.
