I think that public school teachers make far too much money than they should for as little as they work.
I think they should make more for basically babysitting kids and young adults. There are more good teachers than lazy assholes.
I don't know where you come from, but where I'm from it's almost universally acknowledged that school teachers earn way too little.
they work 180 days a year and get 15,000 dollars a year in free health insurance for the entire family. You work 260 days a year and pay the 15,000 dollars for health insurance. they get Retirement as state employees and you get to buy a retirement. they have the lowest SAT scores of any group entering college. meaning they are a tad bit on the slow side. Computer programs are being developed to replace all of them. they are now completly obsolete

I think you should've payed more attention to yours. Maybe they could've helped prevent this thought from occurring
You obviously know NOTHING about a teacher's income . They put in way more hours than they are actually paid for ....
Many of these teachers actually pay for student supplies from their own pockets when the kids cannot afford to pay for items ...
Try doing a little more research on the hours that a teacher puts in and then the amount of $$$ that they EARN ...
in my opinion you get both teachers who are lazy and teachers who try their hardest. i had a teacher that did not give a shit about the class, he'd sit on his computer all day and let us do whatever we wanted. the only time he did "teach" us was when the principal or important people came to visit and watch the class.
but i also had a different teacher who worked so hard to help every single student pass the class. she'd go out her way and take her own time away just to help us, even if we didn't want to learn and was generally being a dick to her she didn't care. i hated her back in high school because she'd almost always keep me back and pester me everyday to get work done, now that i'm finished school i realized how much of an asshole i was even though she was the main reason i was even able to graduate. i miss her a lot and wish i wasn't such a dick back then, she helped me so much and i wish i could tell her i'm sorry for being a bad student.
because of this i think teachers deserve all they make because being a teacher isn't an easy job it's very stressful, and they have to endure everyday with kids who don't make their job easy. (like me)
They do a lot more work that you will ever realize so maybe dont be such a spoiled little brat and realize they deserve everything they make.
