There is someone close to me who is addicted to porn. I have seen the destructive power if it in their own life as well as all those around them.
Never ask peoples opinion about sex they all have different answers ...although they mostly do the same sshit..even you look at porn...you have to figure out your sexuality on your own..follow your own heart
To everyone on here defending porn, saying it's ok, not harmful, great, etc...one question: Would you think it was "ok", "not harmful", "great" if you had a daughter who wanted to be a porn star when she grows up? If that's ok with you, then I guess porn really is ok. Otherwise, you're being a bunch of hypocrites.
That is a false dichotomy. Nobody wants their kid to work at McDonald's forever but that doesn't mean we must hate fast food.
all i have too say about that is EVERYBODY HAS SEX!!!!! there's really not that much of a difference if a camera is pointed at them. As long is it's unharmful sex i don't see the problem, the actors/actresses know what they've gotten into and get paid for doing something we all enjoy. One of my childhood friends is living in Las Vegas directing/starring in porn and she loves it, and i don't think any less of her. If i had a daughter who got into the porn industry, i would be fine with it, she's making a living doing something she would be doing anyway. SEX! there's nothing wrong with it
this is a very good response. Most guys who I asked "what if your sister became a porn star?" they say...."HELL NO I WOULD KILL HER!" then I say back to them..."then why is it okay for you to watch some other guy's sister?"
Pornography addiction is a very harmful addiction, it is understandable to hate it based on seeing what it can do to a person.

It can becomean addiction but it also gives some help to the in-exrienced one.
Of course it's normal to think that porn is wrong. It's called your opinion. Others may not argree but that doesn't make it abnormal.

porn is good for you it helps get out things that if not let out you can become a rapist. no joke you think watching porn terns you into one, no the other way. also addiction to anything is bad you need to know when to stop.

Yeah, porn is wrong. If you want to see sex, go have it. Erotica and/or scenes in movies which may arouse sexual pleasure are okay, but when a big chunk of it is just sex, sex, fooling around and sex, then it's gross, disturbing, pointless, and gives people a wrong, bad message.
I agree. Not only is public nudity gross, but porn addiction can really mess people up. Ted Bundy was addicted to porn at a young age and later became a murderer/rapist. Scary huh?
I think its wrong to some extent for many reasons which I cannot be bothered to state.
If I was a Member of Parliament in the UK... I would vote on limiting the amount of pornography shown on the internet, because I think its starting to get a bit over the top.

Why do you feel that you have the right to tell your boyfriend what is right or wrong? Women make this mistake all the time. People can be together and have different beliefs, the problems start when one of them think they must force their views on the other. I must ask, can he not keep a job because of porn, can he not do every day tasks because of it, addiction is thrown around way too easily. Is it causing damage to his life or is it you think you have more rights than you do?
