Is it normal that i think movie disclaimers are bs?

I mean some movies say "no animals were harmed in the making." I know it is so that they could satisfy stupid pretentious organizations. However, when they say no animals were "harmed," we all know that's bullshit because we all know that they serve meat products to the members of their cast.. There is no way you can convince me that they even stopped serving meat products to their cast.

What about ants that they might have stepped on while making the movie?? Or the fly that the editor slapped while sitting in front of the computer?

See what I'm trying to get to here? I think animal rights activists are full of crap... They care about animals as much as the average person, but they step it up a notch to make themselves look better than you.
"no animals were harmed in the making," OH please...

Okay, now that I finally wrote what was on my mind, it's time for me to eat the best filet. :D
Bon Apetite!

I feel the same way. Animal rights groups are just racist man. I don't care whether you're a duck, a cow, a human or a rock, I'll all treat you the same and show you the same respect.

I feel those groups don't realise humans are animals too. Plus they don't think, they feel. I'm for efficiency. And don't tell me those animals show any mercy for what they eat or use, so neither will I.

Pretentious. Attempting to sound more important than you actually are. So you think animal rights activists are putting on a show to make themselves seem important?

Reeeeeally? Wow. How self-centred are you that you can't conceive of someone actually caring about something other than themself?

Did ya know that whole disclaimer started because of a movie from the 80's called Heaven's Gate where several animals died during the making of the film?

I think you kind of missed the point. They are saying they did not hurt the animals IN the movie. Like if they show a horse in a scene and than the horse explodes you have to wonder "Did they really kill that horse"? and they tell you no by stating "No animals were hurt in the making of this film". As in no they did not really blow up that horse. Its also stupid you want to hold these people responsible for whats going on in the slaughter house. I don't think they film and directing crews are going to have an real involvement in whats going on in the farms/factory-farms/slaughter houses. So you cant really hold them accountable for those animals being dead.
