Is it normal that i think i prefer intimacy to actual sex

I don't really understand it, but basically it's like... The actual physical feeling of having sex doesn't bother me as just being close to someone, up in their personal space, y'know? Don't get me wrong, the sex part is great too :P

I've always have very little concept of personal boundaries, it can creep people out sometimes tbh XD

But yeah, anyways. It's the same like even if i'm just hanging out with my friends, one of the girls comes over and lies down next to me or something and put her head on my shoulder, some little thing like that. It's not so much a turn-on as just... nice :S

    Dude, there's a huge huge difference between having sex and making love. You have sex and make love only with the woman you love. With other women it's only sex no love making.

    It should be normal to like a hug, snuggle and cuddle even if "sex" does not take place.
    I am a male and I simply love hugging girls and being hugged by them. Just to feel their warm soft bodies up against mine is sheer heaven.
    I suspect many women will prefer a cuddle to sex as they are often disappointed by the man who does a wham, bang, thank you mam on them. They like to feel wanted and cherished and for a man to do this just before sex and then to pull away is often hurtful to them as they feel rejected after a man has had his orgasm with them.
    Personally, I like sex and I like to continue the cuddle afterwards for a long time. This is what true sex is all about.
    Guys, be considerate with your little girl and you will be repaid one hundred fold.

    Sex is gross, porn is gross. I'm a guy. I dream of snuggling someone, and finding someone who'll make love to me (glorified sex). It's normal, to want meaningful sex or snuggling over... plain sex.

    If I get a girl, I don't care if she doesn't have sex with me everyday... but I do hope she'll snuggle up to me when we go to bed. I makes me feel loved.

    What you are describing is not emotional intimacy, however, the lack of emotional intimacy in our society leads to most, if not all, of the sexually addictive behavior.

    In case I'm not clear (and I probably wasn't!) we NEED emotional intimacy, most people aren't getting it, instead thinking sex is the answer.
