Is it normal that i think he's into me?

I have been having serious eye contact with a guy for over a year. A few months ago I struck up a conversation, and we totally hit it off (stood talking in a somewhat weird location for a long while). Same thing happened the next day, but after that he was out of town for work for a few weeks. Since he got back, I've struck up conversations on a couple occasions, and he seems to enjoy talking. He also looks at me a lot when we're in the same room but not talking. However, he hasn't once approached me to talk. Is this a case of "he's just not that into you" and I'm totally self-centered, or is it normal that I feel pretty sure he's into me despite this?

    When you talk to him, Try to touch his arm gently as your talking..Not like stroke it but like just hold it for a few seconds this may wake him up and make him feel more conferable because he sees you as being conferable enough to touch him or if that doesnt work he can always faint and youll know he really likes you hehe ok dumb joke at end but you get my point

    I think he may be into you but is just too shy to make the first move. Perhaps ask him out? I'm in the same situation but I'm also too shy to ask him out. :L
