Is it normal that i think everyone in commercials is an actor/actress?

everytime I see a commercial with people such as perscription drug commercials or commercials for colleges, I think all of the people in the commercials are actors and actresses. I know it says their names and where they're from, but I can't help but think no one on the commercial actually goes to the school or uses the drug being advertised.

    What concerns me about "real people" on commercials is that the sponsors think viewers believe the actors are real. It's useless to say, "How dumb do they think we are....?" because most people are pretty goddamn dumb. Even bad professional acting is obviously professional. It's really a pet peeve to care, but you're absolutely normal.
