Is it normal that i think bedrooms are a waste of space?

I moved into my apartment two months ago and the more I look at my bedroom the more I think a bedroom is a waste of space. I mean, you go in it to sleep and then you leave! Beyond that, you just leave your crap in it. I guess that is why I am getting a fold away mattress. I figure I can also put work out equipment in it as well.

    I feel similarly. Like I get its purposes but it's so roomy and you don't spend that much awake time in there
