Is it normal that i text people while masturbating?

A lot of people usually text me, which makes me bad at texting back because it's exactly fun to just sit and text for a long people of time, at least not for me. So when I'm masturbating, I'll get texts from friends and families. I used to just wait until I finished because I felt awkward thinking about them while being in the mood at the same time.

Now, I just stopped caring and I'll pause a video and then send quick texts back to everyone every 10 minutes or so. It doesn't put off my mood, and I finish like normal. At this point it's the same as answering the phone while in the bathroom, which I started feeling normal to do around the same time that I started doing this.
