Whenever I drink any soda, I always tear up and cry. I feel like an idiot when I do so, but is it normal?

    The sensation of bubbles going in your throat and nostrils (and even eyes) may be tricking your brain into thinking that you are crying.
    Try holding your nose next time, and see if you don't tear up.
    Eventually you'll be able to teach yourself that you are only having a drink.
    By the way you could just drink milk or water, that's much better for your teeth.
