Is it normal that i taped a pencil to my drawing?

Yesterday, I taped a pencil to the paper of my drawing I made on the 16th. I did it so I'd always know that that was the pencil I used to make it. And if there ever comes a time to where I want to redraw it, I'll be using the exact same pencil.

    A would call that rather unusual at worst and nostalgic at best. Sounds a bit OCD as well.
