Is it normal that i 'talk' with girls online so much?

Ok, so Im an 18 year old guy, who is not fantastic with women in real life, mostly due to circumstance (all guys school, not excessively outgoing, although I'm not a complete stud, I do look okay and am not 'shy'and have had short relationships with women. But recently after finding a site online I've been meeting and developing closer relationships with women online than in real life, flirting heavily and sometimes more, it's so much easier to do and girls seem to fall head over heels for me online... I realise it isn't normal for me to be doing this but is it normal for me to be substituting my lack of female contact like this?

    Trying to leave you alone is the bother. Facebook girls won't stop chatting to me until I make it extremely blunt that I want them to go away, in which they then get offended and just talk more about why I dislike them. It's not that I dislike them, I don't don't care about them, them not leaving you alone is the irritating part.

    How someone can willingly go up for such things is beyond me.

    I think it happens a lot, but it's a poor substitute for face-to-face contact.

    I used to be a homebody in high school (an all boys' high school, too). In fact, I still am, pretty much, so I think I know where you're coming from on circumstance. But you should try to get out more, while still being yourself. Don't try to be artificially extroverted or anything. Just go out more, even if you feel awkward. People probably won't notice or care that much, even if you do feel uncomfortable.

    Huh... you're like me vice-versa. I'm quite fond of flirting with people IRL. But I suck at online chat, texting and all that.

    Same here. I can't talk to girls in real life but online it's no problem. But they don't seem to fall for me

      Haha yeah, if you're on sites such as omegle, i doubt 80% of these people who say they're female, are actually women!!
