Is it normal that i take off shirt when i poop?

Sometimes when I shit I have to take off my shirt because it falls down and I feel like it's going to get covered in shit, even though I don't wear huge shirts and I know this wouldn't happen. I feel like if I adjust my position on the toilet it'll fall under. I usually only do this if I have two shirts on. I also hold the bottom of my shirt up to my chest. IIN? Does anyone else do this? Oh and right now while writing this, I'm shitting, which gave me the idea of this story :)
