She doesn't deserve death threats or explicit insults or to live in a bubble of shame.

The whole "Friday" joke is over now, and although I detest mainstream pop music, I want her to do well with her career. She's a sweet girl.

Because nobody, not even Justin Bieber deserves to live a life of misery just because their music is awful. It's what they want to do and they should do it, and I bet you anything her new song won't be another Friday.

Also can I just say one thing: for all the people saying such nasty and violent things, you should take a look at yourselves. You're the one being a spiteful jerk, not her. While she's out enjoying a career and working hard to make something of herself, you're sitting at the computer lowering yourself to the level of a spoilt child, and she has no time for you.

I'm fed up with all the hate over something so trivial. I fully support RB, and I want her to enjoy her newfound fame and not be ashamed of it.

Is it normal to feel this way?

    Honestly, its not nearly as bad as supporting the jersey shore. I would rather see the girl try to make her dream a reality and strike out than a bunch of retards making money off of their sheer stupidity. The show is not even funny its so overly scripted

    She's bad, but not AS bad as some of the other pop stars out there. But it is kind of sad that she's the "pop star" who's "safe" to dislike. In all honesty, I think of "Friday" kind of reminds me like it's a PARODY of pop songs today- a poorly written song with Kindergarden lyrics, an average singer who's voice is ruined with autotune and the music itself being autotune vomit. That pretty much describes most of the highly received pop songs today.

    That being said, I don't believe she deserves death threats. To be fair, there are some people out there who do deserve some spiteful things said about them, but Rebecca Black isn't one of them.

    I guess that's normal. Though I am kind of pissed that a chick thinks she's famous because she sung one shitty song that she didn't even write, that was published because her rich parents spoil her and payed a record company to publish her shitty song, poor company, they got ruined.

    yeah. i mean, i dont like her music, or any mainstream manufactured pop music, but she does not deserve death threats and the horrible stuff people are saying about her. shes 14! the people that are being mean to her are just horrible lowering themselves to that level. i wish her luck for the future.
