Is it normal that i stopped bothering to flirt with women?

I'm in my late 20's. All my life I've been rejected by women, it's always the same story. "I have a boyfriend", and "I see you as only a friend" are the most common sentences I've heard over the past 10 years. After a while I got the message: I'm not relationship material.

So is it normal that I've stopped bothering to even flirt, let alone find someone?
