Is it normal that i still love someone far away?

My ex and I were very close before we were separated after a year of struggling to remain together long distance. My parents were why we were pulled apart and that time has given us both time to think. Now, after giving up on contact to insecurities, he contacts me. He's broken up with his girlfriend he had after me, but barely talks to me now. He told me he does still think about me, blah blah, but I doubt he still loves me. Is it normal for me to still love someone after OVER 6 months of little to no contact?

    my ex hasnt seen me for a whole year,
    and i still love her.

    its completely normal.

    Yeah its normal. Me and my ex didn't talk for years after she moved. We talk occasionally now and we've talked about it and were still in love. It's been almost 10 years since she's been gone but when we talk its like she never left. Id move but its so far away from everything I know.

    Course. It takes awhile to go away if the breakup wasn't really bad.

    Yes normal. Love is not something that can just go away. Though I wouldn't get my hopes up if I was u. U meant something to him at some point so of course he will think of u.
