    Totally normal ; if you really loved that person then yeah ! I have loved my ex for 3 years and counting , although I still love him , Ive learned to live without him . And now Im talking to this guy right now and Ive never been happier .
    If it was true love you will love that person forever but probably not the same as you once did .

      i wish it was that simple,
      but my love for her is to strong it's like grasping on to a rope while hanging over the edge of a cliff.
      if i let go, my life ends.

    Sure it is. I still love a girl from three years ago...Maybe not in the way that I would want to be with her again, but she still means a lot to me.
    Just try and make sure it is not holding you back from other opportunities, that way it will be easier for things to come around.
