Is it normal that i still love her?

A while ago I met this girl and I loved her since i met her but at first I was too nervous to ask her out. The day I was about to ask her out I found out she got a boyfriend. She got mad at me about something and we didn't't talk for a long time. Now we are really good friends again and she has a new boyfriend. She told me that she liked me when she had her other boyfriend. Now I still really like her but she has a boyfriend and I think they may be together for a long time. I am very depressed and I even cut myself sometimes.
