Is it normal that i still get jealous?

My boyfriend and I have been in a long-term relationship (4+ years), but every time I see or think of his ex-girlfriend, I get super jealous, sad, and just completely insecure. She took his virginity and years later he took mine so I almost resent him for it. It has been years since they've broken up but I can't stop myself from feeling so insecure. Is it normal to feel this way?!

    If you love him his past shouldn't matter. Not everyone is lucky enough to meet the right person on the first shot, so don't let it bother you. After all you won in the end, right? ;P Obviously you've got something she doesn't, so just think about that whenever you find yourself feeling this way.

    Does he give you any other reason to feel insecure about it?

    Even still, in your situation, it is probably a little normal to feel that way. You should relax, though. He is with you now, only you. That should be enough for you.

    You cannot change the past, so either accept your situation with him, or find someone else to couple up with who is a virgin (who could potentially harbour a similar resentment that you do now in your current relationship).

    If you don't stop, you'll blow up and make him confused, assuming he did nothing wrong, anyway men hate being confused, which makes us angry (caveman style), then we look guilty making you more mad, and now you have a pothole in your road to success that may flatten the tires. Let it go
