Is it normal that i starve myself?
I go through periods of starving and then binging. I restrict to under 600 calories a day, but I don't purge. Is it normal?

I used to do this too. Its not healthy! You will eventually get sick or at the very least get stretch marks. Be healthy.
what are you trying to achieve? if it's weight loss, this is counterproductive. you're telling your body to store up plenty of fat to prepare for famine.
There's nothing wrong with counting calories but the minimum amount of calories you need to take is actually twice that amount. You'll ruin your metabolism if you continue to eat that way. What you should try is increasing your calorie intake and exercising for 45-60 minutes four times a week.
Not normal but common unfortunately. Try eating 3 meals and EXERCISE. Exercise daily. Its healthier for your body and you may feel better over time. Nothing bad comes of exercise unless you like injure yourself.
But why? I used to because I liked how it felt. It was the one thing in my life I felt like I could control at all at that point. Is it weight? Guilt? Habit? Twisted enjoyment? Whatever your reason, you need to try and solve that issue instead of avoiding it and starving and binging.
Starve and binge cycles will make you fat in the long run.
Your body will be set into starvation mode if you starve yourself, so it will be set to conserve fat.
Then when you binge, your body will try to store as much of that energy as possible, making you fatter.
What you should do is eat a small, healthy meal every few hours (I recommend 3).
This is not the right way on losing weight. There is a healthier way and safe way without destroying your body.
If you truly want to lose weight, do your fucking body a favor and workout and excercise while eating healthy food you lazy ass.
God so many ignorant people trying to lose weight by not eating is so fucking frustrating. The stupidity is appalling.
Guys it might not be about losing weight you know. He/she might be depressed or have anxiety problems etc. I had all that and was starving myself when I was about 12/13 years old I also did other things besides that but it's not always about weight there's other factors which I feel you should consider. Please guys have a bit of respect how about asking the person why they do it before jumping to the conclusion they're doing it to lose weight. Thank you!
This is not normal. You are destroying your body by putting it into starvation mode. Without the proper nutrition your body will begin to die. This is NOT the right way to lose weight. Eat 6 smaller and clean meals a day and incorporate some sort of exercise. It could be cardio, weights, ANYTHING. Do not restrict your diet to such puny amounts. You may like what you see in the mirror after a while, but you will hate how you feel.
You shouldn't even count calories. Just portion healthy foods out and eat when you are hungry. Maximize your water intake. That's all you really need to do.
No. Bad. Go eat a sandwich. And a milkshake. And some fries. :) . Not good for your body. Wrong way to go about getting the figure you want.
