Is it normal that i stare at peoples' teeth when conversing?

I just stare at teeth and occasionally glance up every few seconds. I told a few people I speak to and they find it odd.

Do people do it and just not admit to it, is that it?

Having nice teeth is super important. Even if the person is good looking, if they have ugly teeth it ruins everything.

I find myself glancing down at people's teeth while I'm talking to them, as well. I try not to sometimes though because some people have pretty bad teeth and I feel like they think I am judging their teeth. I also feel like I need to look somewhere else besides just their eyes while talking to them. I find it awkward to just stare in their eyes during the whole conversation, so I will glance at their teeth. But, yes, I think it's pretty normal.

no it is not odd.the mouth is one of the most expressive body parts on the face and naturally you are drawn to looking at it. not to mention how the teeth whitening craze has cause a while new judgement to be made about people.

Normal for me. I find myself doing the same thing. I have a bit of an obsession with teeth.

When a man or ugly woman is talking I will look at their eyes or their nose. When it's an attractive woman talking I will look her mouth, lips, and teeth, and try looking for some tongue. Because I probably subconsciously want to kiss her

I work with a girl who has a lip ring and for some reason when I talk to her I can barely take my eyes off of it.
But otherwise teeth is one of the first things I notice on someone.

I used to do that to this girl who looked weird with braces. I still feel bad about it because she probably noticed, but I did it unconsciously.

It's normal to pick a focus point when you talk to people. When I talk to women I tend to focus on their breasts.
