Is it normal that i squeeze my cyst and smell it?

I have a cyst on my thigh. It used to be larger and I was insecure about its appearance. One day I got a needle and poked into that cyst and then drained out the fluid (into the syringe). I noticed a funky smell. Ever since then I've been squeezing the cyst by hand through the hole created by the needle (it never healed over). When I do that, I smell the cyst. I really love the smell, it's very strange and vinegary.

So uh... is this normal?

    lol, i do that sometimes. I thought i was the only one. I don't love the smell tho

    I had a cyst that a little stuff came out of every day and at first I did like the smell but over time the smell changed and the cyst had to be removed. I think you should check with a doctor -- cysts can be harmless, but sometimes they are not.
