Is it normal that i spit into the bowl whenever i'm peeing?

whenever I am peeing, especially when I'm at a urinal or standing over a toilet bowl and I am peeing, I have the urge to spit into the bowl. No matter how accurately as long as the spit gets into the bowl or urinal. Is that normal? Do most men have that same urge?

    I do it compulsively. Also in basins and sinks but only when water is running, like I have to add to it.
