Is it normal that i sometimes make up stories about my life

My teenage life is o pathetic that I've made up stories about what has happened in the past. I've looked back when I was 11 and how I was wicked mature for my age. Everybody said I was growing up too fast so I slowed down and started acting like a kid. I had the potential to have great teenage years if I didn't listen to anybody. Is this normal?
