Is it normal that i sometime pass out from this?

Sometimes, if I'm grossed out by something or think about slowly dying somehow, I'll pass out or more often, just have the beginning stages of passing out. When I pass out, my ears ring, then I see colors, sometimes feel nauseated, then I pass out. When I was ten years old, my mom showed me a pamphlet of farm animals being mistreated and my ears rang and I saw colors. I didn't know what this meant until I was twelve years old. When I was twelve, I had to do a worksheet on a Current Science magazine. One of the sections was about bedbugs. The week before this, I had bedbugs and had more bugbites than I ever had from the bedbugs. The day before this, I got two shots at the doctor. I thought about dying from bedbug bites and shots. Then, I passed out. Often I feel like passing out just from hearing the word blood. Is this normal? I've never thrown up from this kind of stuff, just passed out. I'm eighteen years old and I still feel like I'm going to pass out from this kind of thing.

This is a disorder that used to be so common that the "fainting couch" was created for everything from tight corsets fainting to night terrors, and hysteria. Lots of women and men would faint at certain triggers, one of the most common being blood. I remember I was volunteering at this blood drive and 9 young men that day fainted at the site of needles and or blood it was like a weird phenomena and eventually I realized how common it was! That's why they keep smelling salts on hand!

People faint when something disturbs them to the point that just going oof isn't enough.

But when i hear of other people passing out, its usually from too much heat. I never heard of some one feeling like they're going to pass out for the reason I usually feel like I will. Do you know people who also feel like passing out for the same reason as why i usually do?

I've seen people pass out looking at injection needles. The brain can take the shock so it just shuts down.

I guess you mean cannot take the shock. I think I think about things that just happened longer than other people do. This might be part of the reason for my feeling like I'm going to pass out thinking about death, blood, related things
