Is it normal that i see people who aren't there?

Ok so, yesterday I was watching tv and i was fully awake, and my dog was barking, and thats his way of saying that there's someone at the door. So I opened it and its this elderly lady asking if her granddaughter katie is here and thats she's been looking for her all morning, even though it was about 9pm. Then my boyfriend comes up behind me and asks who I was talking to, then i turned around and the lady was gone! Is this normal?

lol, Part of me wishes that that was the start of a zombie apocalypse. I would have either been the first of many to turn (What an honor! XP), or the first to flee the city, get a head start.

She was probably senile. Did you turn around before he could see who was outside? Maybe she left right when you turned your head and your BF didn't get a chance to see her.

One night my boyfriend took the dog out and he said he saw an old lady in her pjs walking around like she didn't know where she was. All of a sudden she starts sprinting towards him. I think he compared her to a zombie (the fast ones). Glad it wasn't me or I would have shit my pants.

This can explain her sudden disappearance. They're fast! ;)

It was like a split second from when I looked at my Bf to when I turned my head back to the lady :$. The thing is, the lady looked quite old, around 70s-80s like my grandmother, which is why I think that if she did run off I would still see her running. This has also been happening since I was younger, but it was me talking to a person at a cash register at a store that wasn't actually there and people looked at me like I was an idiot lol :$. That was when I was younger though, probably about 10, which is why at that age, I thought I was just imagining things. But now I'm somewhat skeptical. :$
