Is it normal that i see little cartoons everywhere when i'm high

Everytime I smoke weed I see cartoons. Yes I know some of you think its derealization/depersonalization ; I know about that , its when everything around you doesnt feel real and you may have panick attacks. But anyways my problem is whenever I'm high and I stare at the grass or the wall , little cartoons seem to pop up . and the more I stare at it the clearer it gets. It gets worse and worse because the picture keeps getting bigger. Yesterday I saw these cartoons at school , I took out a chalk and started tracing what I saw on the board ( we had a sub ) I was drawing cartoons. & normally I cannot draw to save my life. The next class I had I started seeying cartoons again , so I started tracing what I saw in my notebook. The WHOLE page , was literally filled with little cartoons and the class was only 45 minutes long. I dont know how I drew all of that , the cartoon was goofy and I've never seen it on tv before and I kept trying the same character with different face expressions. At first seeing cartoons was fun , it wasnt until I told my friends and they had no idea what I was talking about. I looked all over the web to see if anyone else feels the same way and I couldnt find anyone

    Cannabis is a hallucinogen. It also possesses stimulant and depressant qualities. It can cause altered spatial perception as well as open and closed eye visuals. It alters touch, taste, smell, sound (think music). Everybody is affected differently.

    Don't listen to them. If you were "schizophrenic" you would have all sorts of other symptoms.

    I see cartoons when I get very high. Its not like I don't see what's really infant of me, its like they exist on a second plane of vision. When I open my eyes shapes and things just appear to be other things and take on cartoon like properties. When I close my eyes I see a black background with moving cartoons that are colorful and intricate. Like a cartoon flower from Alice and wonderland with a bunch of things around it (that was one of the things I saw last night). Its crazy and I don't know why it happens. Nobody else that I have talked to has experienced the same type of thing when they are high. What you're talking about seems exactly what I experience.

    Mee 2 bro, I was high and i was staring at the clouds and when i try to understand the shape of the clouds suddenly the clouds became cartoon characters and the become more clear when i stare and comes closer to me and wanishes suddenly and the next cloud comes and the same happens again and my eyes was little paining and i tried to sleep and when i closed mu eyes many colors was appearing and when i wish yellow the yellow will come. Main point is only cartoon type of images was appearing. I have a question... Did you eat mango while smoking?

    This happens to me also but I don't smoke weed, its like this everyday. I also use to trace them even on my walls, until one day I traced this creature that I thought that was cool! When my friend saw it he knew what it was.

    listen to cup .. best answer so far . If I smoke weed which I stopped .. I also have visuals .. not to the extent you describe but I do have some odd ones that I don't find pleasurable so I don't use marijuana anymore . I am not sure why you would see cartoons really , maybe try someone else's weed and see how that affects you? maybe you smoked a lot of sativa and had wicked visual experience .. it hits everyone differently I believe . I don't know why people still claim you get no visuals from marijuana its very ignorant although I think they say it just because it doesn't for them .

    I've been smoking for as long as 6 years now, and trust me, nobody can trip off marijuana, people that say they do, lie. My advice is, dont smoke it - some people just can't handle it...

    I have not smoked any weed (I want to though). But it sounds like you either have some strong weed, or you are getting laced with something. I wouldn't call this quite... normal... but its not something that surprises me too much. Maybe if it is having that kind of effect on you, you should buy some different weed from someone different. See if you have the same thing happen. If you continue seeing things like that then try not to be high in class. Try to smoke in a controlled environment.
