Is it normal that i see letters and numbers as having.......

having inanimate facial expressions.......

like 2 is smiling or the number 3 is smiling but showing the tteeth the letter M looks like it has a mean face or like the word trouble displays a negative feeling cuz it means trouble (I also feel words have its own kind of emotions but cant describe it)

then wall outlets I see have a face and so do cars front and back lighting.....the monte carlo has a devilish smile the 99 camry has a rude type of look front n back

I have been experiencing this for decades since i was a kid n now i am in my mid 30s.....

this stuff also applies to furniture like chairs and draws an desks......

    It sounds like a form of Synesthesia. The classic Synethesia symptom in letters and numbers having colors, but it sounds like the have personalities instead for you. Or at least they're associated with specific images (the teeth of 3) and/emotions like the word "trouble". Seeing patterns and faces like the cars everywhere I think is common too (don't quote me on that though). I would also suggest looking into Ideasthesia which might be closer to what you have.

    Either way, what you experience is very unique, but not strange or something to worry about. It sounds really cool to be honest.

    When I'm passing into or out of sleep, musical phrases have personalities and are expressing ideas and feelings. It's almost like a person or people telling a story or discussing an idea. It's a very powerful, euphoric feeling. I also have elaborate dreams if I nod off for a few seconds. I've been told this isn't normal, and that it's a symptom of synesthesia, which sounds like what you have, albeit a different type. I think geturshittogetherfriend is correct, though I've never heard of ideasthesia.

    the chinese have been using english numbers as letters for at least 20 years. for example, A=1,B=2,C=3,D=4, the code doesn't continue past the number 10 for convience but they use it to spell initials or use the first letter of words in a sentence as acronyms for something. like"see?,it's cold kurt" spells "sick"

    Faces are the first things you recognize as an infant. Even before colors and shapes. It's normal because everyone sees faces in everything.

    Its not normal but it happens to other people... I have a friend who sees different colours for different numbers.. Like 5 might be yellow or wateva

    Will you share whatever you're on? Lol. I can see what you're talking about but I don't literally visualize it everytime I look at those objects... I should mention I have a 5 year old so everything looks like it has a freakin smiley face. Lol
