Is it normal that i search for a compliment?

I'm always told "you're beautiful" but I'm legitimately concerned that they're just saying it, or I have a disorder and I'm gonna hurt myself if I try to see it. Because HONESTLY my boyfriend says I'm stunning..my friends say they wish they were me...people I pass on the street are complimenting me..I get whistled at a lot. Constantly getting flirted on...and I get a lot of jobs for modeling but I don't see myself as pretty at all....am I the only one that has these feelings for themselves?

    I would suggest you are searching for compliments on here too. We all need reassurance, but to keep looking for it means you have insecurities that need to be dealt with.

    Get comfortable with yourself, its not about being 'stunning' its about looking after yourself and being beautiful on the inside.

    I'm almost positive that every girl feels insecure about their appearance at some point in their lives. some more than others. If someone compliments you and you deny it then it's not a big deal, most girls do. however if you and your friends are just walking down the street and randomly mention how you think they lie when they say you're beautiful, without being complimented, then i'd suggest you to lay off. although even if you do this, it's still normal.
