Is it normal that i scratch my scalp to look at dandruff?

I like to scratch my scalp and watch the dandruff fall, I find dandruff very fascinating for some reason. SO tell me, is this normal?

    I like to look at various bodily things (like bits of skin and bodily fluids) under a microscope.

    And before anyone asks the question that is crossing most people's minds, yes, I have looked at that too. Happy, little tadpoles!
