Is it normal that i say weird things when i sleep??

A couple of nights ago my brother said he heard me saying some thing when i was sleeping. so he recorded it and the next morning me and him listened to it and I said " now eat the stars, were the jackets are... NOW GO! " He told me that when I yelled Now Go that i swung my arm in the air!
Okay now I don't recall dreaming about anything in that area.... Normal or Not?

According to my mother, when I was 3, I sat straight up in bed and while pointing at the wall and yelled, "Look at the bologna! The DELICIOUS bologna!" Thing is, I couldn't quite pronounce my "L" sound back then, so it actually sounded rather like, "Yook at the bayoney! The DEEYISHIS bayoney!". Hahaaa she tells that story to the most random people at the most inappropriate moments. Freakin' moms, huh?

Once, when I was only half-awake, I found I could barely say any word but bread. I said to my mum, "bread bread the bread". She told me to go back to sleep but I kept trying to talk to her in bread language and didn't know why she couldn't understand. Weird sleep things are normal.

One time I heard a Rod Stewart song on the radio and a couple of nights later I woke myself up going "Who ate the Rod Stewart cookies?". I wrote that one down in my dream diary.

Normal! I had a sleepover with a couple friends of mine when I was 12. I turned the light on the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and one of my friends slurred, "What are you doing? You can't play a card with that hand!" I don't know if she remembers it but sadly we're no longer in touch. That was the funniest thing ever to me.

When you dream, it all seems perfectly logical. If you're lucky enough to remember a dream, you can see the absurdity of it.

I had a dream that I was swinging on a rope, kicking at a curtain. Once I woke, I realized that it made no damn sense. But at the time, I never questioned it.

So, if you talk in your sleep, then saying stuff like that is totally normal.

I vocalize A LOT in my sleep. I also punch/kick/choke while sleeping. I'm an Iraq infantry veteran. I have dreams about war at least 4/7 nights per week.

I talk in my sleep every night always about random stuff. One of my friends can have logical conversations when he is asleep, like his brain still works perfectly while asleep. You are normal.
