Is it normal that i saw a phoenix flying in the sky?

When I was a kid, between 10-14, I was looking out of the window in my room and saw a giant phoenix fly by. What does that mean? I know it wasn't a dream I'm 100% sure. So obviously it was a hallucination but is it normal to hallucinate like that?

That must have been some tornado if the whole of Phoenix, Arizona flew by your window.

YOU'RE ONE OF THE CHOSEN ONES, MY BROTHER. LET THE MUGGLES RIDICULE YOU, BUT ALWAYS KNOW: THEY DO NOT HAVE THE SIGHT. THE UNIVERSE IS ON YOUR SIDE. (XD no but seriously what did you smoke, i want that stuff)

  • The OP forgot to mention that the next day the house was condemned because it seems excessive amounts of radon gas had been leaking up through cracks in the foundation.

At that age, it's not really a "hallucination" either, most likely. It's called your imagination, and it's perfectly normal to have an active one around that age.

Still holding on to the memory could possibly mean there's something that happened at around that time period that you're holding on to, even subconsciously.

Is there any specific memory you can tie in with seeing the phoenix? Did it happen on a night that something else big in your life happened? Does it represent something special to you?

I would spend some time thinking about what that image, the phoenix outside your window, and what that age, the events that happened around that time, are. Maybe even do a bit of research on the phoenix as a symbol? It could be very cathartic.

    Ho-oh?

    He's legendary.

I think it's normal. Some people are more attuned to the spirit world then others. I've seen quite allot of fairies/sprites and drugs didn't play a part:D

I once saw a very very very phoenix like object in the distance, fly from one side of a lake into the horizon, At first i was entirely convinced it was a phoenix, and was in absolute awe. it turns out it was just one of those lanterns like in Tangled. I think. i still kind of think it was a phoenix though.

Dude, your older brother played a joke on you.

Covering a pigeon with lighter fluid and setting it ablaze next to your window does _NOT_ make it a phoenix.

    Not cool of your brother.
