Is it normal that i salt and pepper my ketchup?

Whenever I'm eating something with ketchup, usually french fries, I salt and pepper not only my french fries, but my ketchup as well. Is that normal?

    My dad only adds pepper and he isn't happy unless it's a certain shade of grey

    Too much salt is bad for you haha but I love pepper! I gotta try that some time.... minus the salt.

    I do this all the time but I only add pepper....so I guess it's normal :)

    I just salt the ketchup if the fries don't have enough salt. I may try the pepper sometime!
