Is it normal that i rushed into a relationship?

I met a wonderful girl in the spring. We instantly got along and we share mutual friends. She went home and we texted all the time. We couldn't stop talking to each other! Then we met up on a trip, and it was one of the best times of my life. Now she is back here, and we decided to become a couple (facebook official and with friends). We have only been physically together on a day to day basis (minus texting for 2 months) for a couple of days in the spring and and week on the trip this summer. I am still comfortable with her, and I am wild about her, but I wonder if we know one another well enough to commit to a relationship.

    as long as it makes you happy just keep doing what you are doing. Might as well give it your best shot rather than question what is happening constantly.

    I just want it to work out, I've been burned before. But something tells me there is more to the picture, and after we get to know each other, we may not like each other. I don't know if I should invest anymore time.
