Is it normal that i role play by myself?

I am a 20 year old with an over active imagination. I am a crazy bookworm and instantly after I finish a book especially a romance novel, i start to put myself in the shoes of the heroine and literally act it out. I even make up dialogues, new scenarios and think of a proper background song and while playing it, i talk to myself and move around the room, sometimes even crying or laughing on cue. My family has walked into the room a few times and laughedd their asses off. Lately I just have this feeling that i am crazy and maybe i need professional help. Hence i need honest opinions.

Crazy? No way. It happens to me all the time. Why? Because I am a born writer. And you are too. What you need to do is to start putting these imagined scenerios on paper. Once these Ideas are put into some kind of cohesive order you will find that the makings of a decent short story will be revealed to you. Then string a few of these short stories together with a central theme. Musically speaking a sort of bass line. Your imagination will start to soar; sparks will fly. And then the gut-wrenching journey of creating a novel will then ensue. I am on that journey now. So the best of luck to you kindred spirit. Perhaps will will meet one day. :-D

Great advice: I was going to suggest the same thing but it wouldn't have been as lyrical as your response

Sounds like a unusual thing to do but if it makes you happy then enjoy.
