Is it normal that i rock myself to sleep?

I also rock in my sleep as I have been told by my boyfriend. I've been doing it as long as I remember. If I don't rock then I can't get to sleep... My boyfriend says sometimes it's little rocks and sometimes it's like someones pushing me back and forth but I have no idea that I'm doing it while sleeping...

    Did you ever get an answer on this? I use to rock my head a child. As an adult, I can stop if I'm in a relationship, but single, I find myself rocking my hip and counting.
