Is it normal that i reminisce when i look at things?

I used to talk a lot on social websites (excluding facebook) and now that I don't have that much free time anymore, I kinda lost that part of me. However, I still get on one which is called interpals. Is it normal that when I look back through my messages from many months ago, I reminisce and get a little emotional? I get a little more emotional when I look at the conversations with a person that stopped contacting me.

Is it normal?

    I've done that. I don't like deleting messages from close friends and sometimes I too look back at them and feel kind of sad because things are different now. I believe its normal.

    Yup! I have a very vivd memory and every smell is an instant trigger.
