Is it normal that i remember songs from my childhood?

I'm talking about songs that I've only heard ONCE. There are a few songs that I always connect with the memory from where I heard it. Even though I don't know what the song is called or who sings it I can remember the tune or a few lyrics that I never forget. I was thinking of a song today that I heard over ten years ago and was able to find it just by typing in some of the lyrics I remembered! Do any of you remember songs that you've only heard once in your childhood?

    My mom used to play Justin Timberlake in the car when I was like 5. Eight years later I listen to them again and I remember all the words. As a young child, your brain and subconscious are so easy to imprint things on. You just don't always remember it until something triggers it.

    I remember the songs that I heard in my Dad's truck. He played the same ones all of the time. Now whenever I hear them I freak out.

    Yes, it's normal. Like:

    I'm a little teapot, short and stout.
    Here is my draydle/cradle, here is my pot....

    Yes it seems weird that you can remember stuff like this but actually i do it all the time! There'll be songs and they just totally ring a bell! Also with smells and sights i have the same thing! Its like total deja vu! So dont worry your not a freak its totally common! Hope this helped!
