Is it normal that i refuse to wear tennis shoes?

I will not wear them unless I am doing a sport such as basketball, etc. But, that rarely happens.

I feel that they look messy and somewhat lazy. I look and feel stupid wearing them, so I don't.

Am I the only one?

    Same here. I only wear tennis shoes when I'm exercising, otherwise I can't stand them.

    Yeah, they suck. I always played tennis in my running shoes.

    I don't wear any kind of sneakers unless I'm in the gym. I don't like them. I simply just don't like them.
