Is it normal that i refuse to sit down on public toliet seats

I find public restrooms absolutely disgusting, and I cannot sit down on them when I have to take a dump. I squat over the seat and let nature take its course. I was wondering if that was normal. btw, I'm a 20 year old male.

    I'm a male and our public restrooms are utterly disgusting. I try to avoid them at all costs. I swear they send the janitors to the women's restrooms only. There is no way I sit down to do #2 on a public toilet. I'm 27 there is nothing wrong with you man. I wish I adopted that policy years ago

    So when u squat doesn't the dump juice splash up on ur ass?! Gross! But I'm female and I don't sit on public toilets either so I know how u feel :)

    Y not just put toilet paper along the edges of the seat, thats what i do

    I presume most of these comments are from chicks right? The mens toilets are a disgrace, compared to yours! I can't remember the last toilet I saw that wasn't covered in piss. I normally give it a wipe down, or maybe put dome toilet paper on the seat and it on that, only if it's really bad do I squat.

    its normal to not like sittin on them, but its a bit paranoid to believe that they arent clean!
    'cause they send dudes in to clean them like, every 5 mins! ( weirdly it IS mostly dudes)

    but if you're still freakin out about it and its one of those skanky toilets..
    you can always cut two bits of toilet tissue off and place them on the edge of the toilet seat (where you would sit) like a triangle, so that the two ends overlap. then you can sit down without any nasty bacteria getting on you

    but for males... i know how you feel... 'cause some guys don't use urinals they just piss on the seat, then you sit in it... gross. I live in a predomniantly male household, and i must say... its highly disrespectful...

    Why would anyone ever sit on a toilet seat?

    Strengthen your quadriceps and avoid nasty bacterial and other disease transfer at the same time.
