I really like this guy but I have never really talked to him. I get so nervous when I see him and I've never acted this way around anybody. I'm only a sophomore in high school and he's a jr. My friends keep telling me to go talk to him but I get so nervous. I want to ask him to the Christmas dance but I want to get to know him a little more. Anybody have advice? Guys what would make you interested in getting to know a girl?

    How about if a girl came up to me and said "hi"? That is enough for be to be interested in her. Trust me, he'll be thinking of you in oe way or another after you finish a conversation with him.

    He'll probably want to talk to you again after that.

    Jesus, it's totally normal! It's like...the stuff high school is made out of, haha.

    If I were you, I'd say just go talk to him. As a guy, I can say we always like it when a girl comes up and talks to us, uninitiated. If you feel like saying "hi" is too awkward, go up to him and make some observation about something going on; could be a class, a teacher, a nearby rowdy group of students, anything you please.

    Or you could find something about him to compliment, and go from there. There are many options! Let me know what you think, I'd be happy to talk more with you about this/give you advice!

    well im 16 and i went threw a similar thing all last year wit who now is my gf. well talk to him clearly. if you dont hit it off at first keep trying get to know him. dont turn fake on him stay yourself and dont b to nervous around him. be sure to make some jokes and keep hom interested in wat u have to say

    Guys are so easy to get. If you have looks ranging from owkay to super sexy. Just smile and say hi. And bam.. they are interested.
