Bad smells usually smell bad to us because we've evolved to detect things we shouldn't touch or consume. Rotting food, excrement, some dangerous fungal and bacterial growths...

It's not the craziest sexual paraphilia out there so I wouldn't worry about it :)

I wouldn't say I like bad smells but whenever I smell something awful I feel compelled to smell it again. As if I'm verifying how horrible it was!

These are/or can be bad smells to some and to others a nice or sexy smell. If you like any of these, then better check yourself: dirty feet, arm pits, sweat on an attractive person, musty ass crack of a very sexy person, pussy, worn underware, sweaty balls, dirty sweaty muscle man, babies breathe, your own farts, some one elses fart, crotch sweat, sweaty woman, human excrement, dirty socks, dirty shoes, gasoline, diesel, rotten cheese, brunsweiger, semen of an attractive male, horse hair... if you know more lets hear it!

Yes it's normal. Scent is a huge part of life, and an even bigger part of memory. In fact, scent is directly related to memory, and is more helpful in remembering than actually seeing the thing you're trying to remember.

So with that in mind, scent can do a whole lot of other things. Pheromones for example. I like a "bad" smell. The smell of a woman's ass (clean,not shitty).

So you liking the smell of dirty laundry, while I find it weird personally, it isn't abnormal.

I think it's normal. What smell is good or bad depends on the person. I actually like some strong smells that many people consider as "bad", such as smelly cheese or sweat for example...

I guess it's subjective. I find a lot of strong smells people either love or hate. Like most people, I don't like the smell of shit, piss, skunks, feet, etc. But I do like the smells of cement, gasoline, arm pits, and ball sweat for whatever reason even though some people hate those smells.
