Is it normal that i really don't care about dating right now?

Alright I'm a guy and so like the title says I don't want to date anyone right now (except for my best friend who is a girl). No one interests me. Don't get me wrong I will look at a girl and be like, "Damn is she hot!" but that doesn't make me want to date them. On the other hand my best friend who like I said is a girl currently has a boyfriend, so I am kinda jealous. She is the only one I want to be with. So is it normal that I don't care about a relationship with anyone right now?. Except for my best friend.

    Well, if you wait for just the one you think is the only one for you, and she don't want to date you currently, you will not have a good opinion about what you made of your life. Go enjoy others, you may actually learn to like someone else. If you don't, you may regret that decision later on.

    Trust me the best thing for you is to move on from her right now and date other people. The worst thing in the world is watching your best friend and hoping one day she'll fall for you. I did that exact thing, and I've spent the last 7 months focusing only on her. Don't let it control you, go out and live your life and don't miss out on amazing opportunities.

    Sure, that's normal. However, if you like your best friend, there's no reason why you shouldn't pursue it.
