Is it normal that i put myself in place of the opposite gender?
Let me tell you what I mean:
Recently, my friends and I were watching Return of the Jedi. When we got to the scene that shows Princess Leia wearing a gold bikini and chained to Jabba the Hutt's throne, all my friends had the typical "guy" reaction: they all commented on how hot Leia looked, and they all stared at her drooling, (not literally, but you get the idea).
Now, I too am a guy, and I am not gay, but for some reason, I found myself sympathizing with Leia as though I felt I was in her position. Later, after my friends were gone, I even envisioned myself wearing that same gold bikini even though it's for a woman, and chained to Jabba's throne. Even worse, in the vision I had, my friends were all guests in Jabba's palace. They all were fully-clothed and had freedom, while I, on the other hand, was wearing a skimpy little woman's bikini, and was in chains. I felt like all eyes were on me. I felt awkward and embarrassed. Is it normal that I had that reaction rather than the typical guy reaction?
