Is it normal that i psychoanalyze peoples actions?

So, i've noticed something about myself recently. I tend to find a hidden meaning behind anything anyone does, and i feel as if it's my brain's attempt at trying to figure out someone. If someone says something or reacts in a certain way, I automatically try to figure out the reasoning behind it (or what that says about them). Is this normal? Am i being weird?

We all do that. Using it to gauge our own responses to others behaviour. The many miscommunications and misconceptions we all have are due to our relating to others through our own biases.

Projecting our own beliefs and motivations onto others behaviour, and often being off point, is pretty common to all humans.

I do it too, it's called overthinking.

When I was in high school my senior prediction was, Rose stops analyzing, and starts living.

It depends what they're saying. I notice sociopathic tendencies alot and tend to analyze ppl that seem to not have empathy. Then I stay away from that person.
