Is it normal that i produce a large amount of saliva?
On random days, for no particular reason, my salivary glands start to produce an excess of watery saliva, about a mouthful per 2 minutes over the course of several hours. I will have to either spit it out, or use tissues to soak it up. I cannot swallow it because this results in painful stomach cramps. I know the cause is not dehydration, because I drink 32-64 oz. (or 0.94- 1.89 L) of water a day. So, Is it normal? (Please comment if you know the cause or experience the same problem!)
