So i like yaoi and i know a lot of my friends who also do, but i prefer the yaoi to the real stuff. I have no idea that this is normal on a wide range but betwen us it is normal. So thoughts comments.(If you don't know what yaoi is, don't bother)

    I believe that it's pretty common for people to prefer anime to real people. There are plenty of stories on here of people who like hentai over actual porn, hell I'm one of those people. Yaoi is no different.

    I'm assuming this is because gay porn knows exactly what it is while some yaoi try to weave in a plot under the pretension that the main characters are deep and the plot is original and interesting. Yaoi kind of sort of attempts to have a plot sometimes while gay porn is mostly... just that. I can understand why someone prefers shounen-ai to gay porn, but I don't really see the point of liking yaoi, but not gay porn.
