Is it normal that i prefer voyeurism to casual sexual encounters?

It's not that I don't love sex. Far from it! It's just that if I'm not in a meaningful relationship, I prefer voyeurism to casual sex.

The thing is, I'm not really into porn. It lacks intimacy. However, if I've had some contact or have ongoing contact with a woman, I can't get enough videos or images of them. It's a huge turn-on for me. It doesn't even have to be someone I'm close to. As long as I've communicated with them or have had some sort of exchange or interaction it's awesome! It could even be someone I don't even like.

I've never really been into porn or strippers, etc. I've gone to stripper bars with friends for stags and it does nothing for me. But I knew one of the strippers once and that was amazing!

I love mutual masturbation on video or through images as well. So it's not that it's some one-sided, selfish thing.

I guess what I'm asking is don't most people consider sex to be the end goal and masturbation to be something to hold you over until you have sex?

Does anyone else find this strange or is everyone like this?

    It sounds like you REALLY love voyeurism. Watching porn is not real but watching real people having sex is real. You don't know how it's going to be and that excites you. Correct?
