Is it normal that i prefer the way i look in the mirror?

Nobody has a totally symmetrical face, I know - but to me, the face I see in the mirror looks very different to the one I see in photos and videos of myself. I love my reflection, I think I'm HOT (and often say that as I wink and kiss the glass) - but when I see myself in a photo, I just think, yeah, OK looking, but nowhere near as sexy as my mirror-buddy! Anyone else get that?

    Photos are often warped. The lens on a camera often changes the shape of things slightly. Most people are also more critical of their own appearance than others are. You will notice more things wrong with your body than others can.

    I read about a study that confirmed what keddersprincess said but I really disagree. I've seen people who look terrible in pictures but in person they're so hot!

    They say the face that you see in the mirror is how you see yourself, where as the picture of you in photos is how everyone else sees you.

    i get quite the opposite, some mirrors portray me differently sometimes i like the way i look in a mirror other mirrors make me look like shit i rekon, i sometimes look good in photos other times look like shit haha...
